Mauch Studio Programs Overview
At Mauch Art Studio, kids, teens, and adults don’t just “do crafts” they learn real skills through fun, structured classes in art, writing, science, and drama.
Every class has a clear focus for the day so students know what they’re working on, what they’re learning, and what they’re building toward. The result is more confidence, stronger skills, and work they’re genuinely proud of.

Children’s Programs | Ages 5–11
These classes are designed for kids who are curious, creative, and ready to explore new things in a structured, supportive environment.
As a former kindergarten teacher, I understand just how wide and varied children’s interests can be. That’s why we offer a wide range of classes and camps in art, writing, history, science, and drama so families can choose experiences that truly fit what their child loves.
Each class is hands-on and instructor-led, focused on building skills while keeping kids engaged and excited to come back. Students create projects, try new techniques, and build confidence through clear, guided instruction in a fun studio setting.
Kids leave each session proud of what they’ve made and excited for what’s next.
Teen Studio Programs | Ages 12-17
Our teen programs focus on either visual art or creative writing, giving students space to build real skills in the area they’re most interested in.
In art classes, students develop drawing, painting, and mixed media skills while learning how to improve technique, observation, and creative expression. In creative writing, they explore storytelling, structure, and voice through guided prompts and projects.
Each course is designed to help teens build confidence, see real progress, and develop work they’re proud of in a focused studio environment.
Adult Programs | Ages 18+
We offer classes for every type of adult artist, whether you’re picking up a brush for the first time or returning with years of experience.
Each class description clearly notes whether it’s beginner-friendly or more advanced, so you can confidently choose a class that fits your comfort level.
Most classes are organized by topic (like oil painting, landscape drawing, or figure drawing) so you can build real skill in a focused area. We also occasionally offer themed, relaxed workshops designed for fun and creativity in a group setting like art journaling nights, “design a kids’ art photo collage for moms,” or zen painting with tea.
These classes are a chance to slow down, create, and enjoy the process in a welcoming studio environment.
Private Art Instruction | Ages 13+
For students who want more focused support or faster progress, private lessons give one-on-one instruction tailored to their goals.
Whether it’s catching up, leveling up, or building a portfolio, each session is hands-on, structured, and built around what that student needs most.
