About the event
Join us for a brand-new series designed especially with homeschool families in mind! Each month, we’ll “travel” to a different country through hands-on art projects that connect to history, culture, science, and geography. Students will not only create unique artworks but also learn fascinating facts about the world around them.
Each week includes a creative art lesson, cultural learning, and a snack that ties into the country we’re exploring! By the end of the month, students will have a collection of artworks (and experiences) that reflect what they’ve learned.
This class is perfect for ages 6–12 and offers a multidisciplinary experience — blending art with subjects like STEM, social studies, and literature — all while enjoying community with other homeschool families.
Each month we’ll “visit” a new country and explore its culture through art, learning, and themed snacks!
October: Japan – Cherry blossoms, Japanese houses, ocean wave art, carp streamers
