About the event
Kids will spend the evening reading, writing, drawing, and creating! We’ll read stories together, talk about storytelling and illustration, and have a short creative writing lesson before giving students plenty of time to work on their own stories and illustrations.
We’ll take a break for a pizza dinner and have some relaxed time for age-appropriate games and activities before getting back to our creative projects.
Students can create their own characters and stories, illustrate what they’ve written, or use one of our prompts to get started. The evening is designed as a fun, hands-on creative workshop with a mix of instruction, independent work, and group activities.
