Elementary Writer’s Workshop

Does your child dream of becoming an author? In this month-long Writer’s Workshop, students will step into the shoes of real writers and illustrators as they create their very own book from start to finish! Each week, we’ll work through the writing process in a fun, supportive environment—brainstorming story ideas, drafting, revising with teacher guidance, and adding creative illustrations to bring their words to life.

This class meets Wednesday mornings, October 8th–29th, from 9:00–10:30.

As a former Kindergarten teacher, writing has always been one of my greatest joys to teach, and I can’t wait to share that excitement with your child. Every student will receive a basic printed and stapled copy of their book to celebrate their accomplishment, and families will have the opportunity to purchase a professionally bound hardcover or softcover book through Student Treasures Publishing if they choose.
