About the event

Lights, camera, fairytale magic! In this beginner-friendly theatre camp, students will step into the world of storytelling and performance as they bring The Princess and the Pea to life on stage.

Throughout the week, campers will learn foundational acting skills including character development, voice projection, facial expression, body movement, stage presence, and teamwork. Through guided instruction, theatre games, improvisation activities, and short rehearsal scenes, students will build confidence while learning how actors use their voice and body to tell a story.

Students will work together as an ensemble to explore scenes from the fairytale using simple props, staging, and creative imagination. Each activity is designed to help young performers feel comfortable on stage while developing communication skills, creativity, and collaboration.

This structured theatre class focuses on building strong performance foundations in a fun and encouraging environment where every student gets a chance to shine.
