Calling all animal lovers! In this hands-on veterinary science camp, students will step into the world of animal care and discover how veterinarians help keep pets and animals healthy.
Throughout the week, campers will explore foundational animal science topics including basic anatomy, animal behavior, pet care routines, wellness checks, habitats, and the tools veterinarians use in their work. Lessons are designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and focused on building observation skills and scientific thinking.
Students will participate in interactive activities such as simulated veterinary wellness exams, heartbeat listening demonstrations, symptom observation exercises, and animal care investigations. They will also create simple pet care charts and learn how different animals have unique needs based on their species and environment.
