About the event

Calling all future astronauts and space explorers! In this hands-on STEM camp, students will journey through the solar system while learning foundational astronomy and space science concepts in a fun, structured environment.

Throughout the week, campers will explore topics such as planets, gravity, rockets, spacecraft, and what life is like for astronauts in space. Lessons are designed to make complex space science ideas accessible through interactive, step-by-step instruction and hands-on exploration.

Students will participate in exciting activities including designing and building simple model rockets, creating space habitat projects, exploring gravity through demonstrations, and studying the solar system. They will also complete observation-based experiments and engineering challenges inspired by real space exploration.

Each session encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and scientific thinking as students test ideas, make predictions, and learn how scientists and engineers explore the universe.
