About the event
Teen Watercolor & Acrylic Painting Studio is a structured four-evening workshop designed for teen artists who want to strengthen their painting skills while exploring two popular and expressive painting mediums. Through guided instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on studio projects, students will build confidence in both watercolor and acrylic painting while developing foundational artistic techniques.
Throughout the course, students will explore important painting concepts including color mixing, layering, blending, brush control, texture, composition, value, and color theory. Lessons are designed to help students understand the differences between watercolor and acrylic while learning how artists use each medium to create different visual effects and styles.
Students will practice techniques such as:
watercolor washes and transparency
acrylic layering and texture building
blending and smooth color transitions
