About the event

Adventure awaits! In this hands-on outdoor education camp, young explorers will discover the wonders of nature while learning foundational wilderness and observation skills in a fun, structured environment.

Throughout the week, students will explore the outdoors while practicing age-appropriate skills such as basic map reading, navigation concepts, knot tying, shelter design principles, and environmental observation. Campers will also learn about local wildlife, including animal tracks, scat identification, and behavior patterns to better understand how animals interact with their environment.

Each day includes guided instruction, hands-on exploration, and engaging outdoor-inspired activities designed to build confidence, curiosity, and problem-solving skills. Students will complete projects such as creating simple maps, practicing basic knots, studying nature clues, and designing model shelters using provided materials.

Campers will also keep exploration journals to record observations, document discoveries, and strengthen attention to detail and scientific thinking skills as they learn from the natural world.
