Fairytales & Fantasy Art – Creative Arts Camp (Ages 5–11)

Step into a world of imagination where dragons soar, castles stretch toward the clouds, and tiny fairies hide in shimmering forests. Throughout the week, campers will explore enchanted kingdoms, legendary creatures, brave heroes, and whimsical adventures, using storytelling as the spark for meaningful artistic creation.

Each day will begin with a magical story read aloud to inspire creativity and guide the artwork that follows. Campers will learn how artists transform written stories into visual worlds, studying how setting, character, mood, and detail can be expressed through color, texture, and composition.

As they create, campers will build foundational art skills while experimenting with a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, watercolor, sculpture, and mixed media. We’ll explore character design, imaginative environments, layering techniques, and how to add depth and personality to artwork. Along the way, artists will strengthen their understanding of color choices, visual storytelling, and creative problem-solving.
