About the event
Teen Drawing Intensive is designed for young artists who love to draw and want to push their skills further in a focused studio environment. Campers receive close instruction, individualized feedback, and meaningful opportunities to grow as artists in a supportive setting.
Throughout the week, students explore foundational and advanced drawing concepts including proportion, form, shading, perspective, and composition. They will learn how to observe subjects carefully and translate what they see into believable, three-dimensional drawings. Lessons will cover techniques such as value scales, light and shadow, cross-hatching, blending, and mark-making so students can develop control and confidence with graphite and other drawing tools.

We’ll study how artists use line, value, and composition to guide the viewer’s eye and create visually strong artwork. Students will also explore perspective drawing to understand…
